Per the most recent study published by the Institute for Economics and Peace (IEP), violence cost the world $9.46 trillion in 2012 alone. That’s 11 percent of gross world product.

By extrapolation, at the current time our gross world-product in round figures would be 10 trillion divided by 108, would be 100 trillion. So if we had PEACE, the gross world product would be $100 trillion.
